Assurance: Seeing is Believing, Part II
Have you ever wondered if Old Testament “believers” struggled with assurance of their faith? We are in a four-week series in which a question by David will guide us in how he resolved this issue. In week one, we saw how assurance is built on acceptance. Today we will consider how acceptance is made visible through dependence. David entered into the Lord’s acceptance of Him (entered into His Covenant) and that is made visible in David’s life through his dependence on God.
