About The Speakers
Dr. Ed Welch, M.Div., Ph.D. is a counselor and faculty member at CCEF. He earned a Ph.D. in counseling from the University of Utah and has Master of Divinity degree from Biblical Theological Seminary. Ed has been counseling for over thirty years and has written many books and articles on biblical counseling. He and his wife, Sheri, have two married daughters and eight grandchildren. In his spare time, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family and playing his guitar.
Dan Miller is the teaching pastor at Grace Fellowship. He leads our ministry staff as well as our ministry program directors in promoting our disciple-making environments. Pastor Dan spent almost 16 years as a student pastor and then helped start Grace Fellowship in 2003. Dan is married to Vicki and together they enjoy their seven children – Benjamin, David, Alexa, Zachary, Nathan, Ana and Autumn.
Michael Martin is the Director of Biblical Counseling Solutions in Woodstock, GA, www.BiblicalCounseling.Solutions. Michael received his Biblical Counseling Certification through ACBC and IABC. He is also a member of and the Director of Biblical Counseling at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Canton, GA.
Lisa Poore, MS, LPC is with Paraclete Counseling. She has over 26 years of experience guiding her clients through their issues. She earned her Masters from GSU and is a Board Certified and Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. Lisa has experience dealing with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and a variety of family situations.
Troy Snyder, MS, LPC, CCSAS is with Paraclete Counseling. He is a Biblically-based counselor who specializes in two distinct areas: sexual addiction and anger issues. He also specializes in working through issues relating to men and adolescent boys. He views the Bible as the truth that teaches us wisdom and shows us how to live faithfully. Troy earned a Masters degree from GSU and has a diploma in Christian Counseling.
Kami Legg, MA, LMFT has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Counseling Children and Adolescents from Richmond Graduate Institute. She walks with hurting people helping them to face life’s challenges by putting their trust in God. Kami believes the real healing work is God’s to perform and enjoys bringing hope to hurting people. Kami is also with Paraclete Counseling.
