Legacy: The Role of the Wife

Sunday, November 15th, 2009 : By Dan Miller

The roles we play throughout life are governed by certain actions we take and rules we follow. When swimming each participant knows that they are to stay in their “swim-lane.” Drivers have to stay on their side of the road. Pilots sit in the cockpit while passengers sit in the back. The role we play determines the actions and guidelines we follow. The same is true in the family. This week we will consider the role of the wife and what are the actions and guidelines that God wants for her. This morning’s teaching focuses on 1 Peter 3:1-6. MP3 download.

When God says “husband” what do you think He pictures? Hey, life is tough enough without having to try and figure out how to be a husband from a vague notion or a contemporary image. Today, we will explore the role of the husband and try to clean up some bad thinking on a critical subject. This morning’s teaching focuses on 1 Peter 3:1-7. MP3 download.

Friday, August 15th, 2008 : By Hugh Williams

Now where did my clothes go…?

graceTALK, October 2006

Sunday, October 29th, 2006 : By Leadership Team

The Leadership Team answers your questions.

Q1 (1:38):  Acknowledging that Christ is our only hope (not man or political parties) and that God is sovereign over all things, what is the view of the Grace Fellowship Leadership Team on the church’s role in politics or political activism?  What Scriptures can you point us to in support of your answer?

Q2 (7:45):  I have friends (christians) who think Halloween is of the devil and no Christian should have anything to do with it.  I have other friends (also christians) who dress up and go door-to-door and think nothing of it.  Which approach is right?

Q3 (20:52):  The Bible speaks of the possibility of sin being passed on to several generations.  …
