ChurchWorks: How You Function, Part 7

Sunday, July 27th, 2008 : By Ken Rutherford

Have you ever wondered “Who is the Holy Spirit?”, “What does the Holy Spirit do?”, or “How does the Holy Spirit work in the life of a believer?” The doctrine of the Holy Spirit is easily one of the most controversial, disagreed-about, avoided, feared, confused, and neglected subjects in the Bible. Pastor Dan has been teaching on the marks of a God-owned church (Knowing Who You Are) and how God equips his church to carry out his mission (Knowing How You Function). For the next two weeks, we are going to take a slight detour and explore the theological foundation to his teaching by focusing on the Biblical description of the Holy Spirit.  MP3 download.

Sunday, March 2nd, 2008 : By Dan Miller

In this two week series we will give a revealing look at our role in God’s Kingdom.  Wow, just think about the contrast in those two ideas:  “our role” and “God’s Kingdom.”  How do you boil down a subject this huge into a container so limited?  Well, over the next two weeks we will show you how we as a Church fit into the framework of God’s Kingdom.  Then, during week 2, we will see how you as a person are made to extend the Kingdom of God in the sphere of influence in which you live.  It is our hope and prayer that after these two messages you will better understand the purpose of Grace Fellowship as well as …

Do You Hear What I Hear?

Sunday, December 23rd, 2007 : By Dan Miller

As we stare down another Christmas season I would like to ask you a question: What do you think the purpose of Jesus coming was?  In this teaching, we will examine the purpose that God gives for the coming of Jesus.  It is a forgotten truth, a sometimes deliberate omission to our holiday celebration.  However, it is crucial if we are to really understand in full the “reason for the season.”
