We value asking questions to better understand how to live life in a God-centered, Christ-exalting way. Let’s face it, life is tough and trying to find your way on your own just makes things more difficult. But where can you go to find biblical answers to life issues? We believe that church should be THAT place. So, we have a “GraceTALK” every quarter in which some of our pastors answers questions that you have submitted.
Q1 (2:10). If I speed when I drive, am I sinning against God?
Q2 (15:56). In Matthew 6:33 it says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” The “things” in the context seems to be the“stuff of life” – food, clothing, etc. However, I have recently been reading about first century believes as well as missionaries who have been NOT been given “things” and, as a matter of fact, have been deprived of “these things” to the point of causing their death. I know Jesus is faithful so I must be missing something here.
Q3 (22:14). When does someone become a “false prophet”(Matt. 7:15) vs. a Bible study leader or even a pastor who is not teaching the correct meaning of a passage or is wrong on a topic due to a faulty interpretation?
