Missions

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
- Matthew 28:19-20

Why Is Missions So Important?

First and foremost because of the Great Commission found in Matthew 28. The Lord has commanded us to spread His fame here in the Atlanta area and around the world and we take Him at His Word. By being active in missions, we as believers can have the exciting privilege of partnering with God to spread His fame.

Secondly, missions helps us, as followers of Christ, understand how God is working through believers of all cultures and languages around the world to spread His fame.

And, finally, mission work in an unfamiliar or uncomfortable environment helps us gain a deeper love for the lost—at home and abroad. When we learn to have a burden for those that are lost in Latin America, Asia, or Africa we will, by extension, gain a deeper love for the lost at our place of work, in our schools, and in our neighborhoods.

Missions is an integral part of everything that we do at Grace Fellowship. We believe in spreading God’s fame in South Forsyth, North Fulton, the Atlanta area and around the world.
