BEAR TESTIMONY
(4/20 - 4/26)

Your testimony is the story of a genuinely miraculous work that the Creator of all things brought about in your very own life. If you have been delivered from death to life by the Holy Spirit and are experiencing what it means to be transferred from darkness to light, you are equipped to bear testimony of God’s life-altering wonder-working power. Use this week to make that story known.

2 Timothy 1: 7 - 12

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment. So don’t be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me his prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God. He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. This has now been made evident through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. For this gospel I was appointed a herald, apostle, and teacher, and that is why I suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day.

Devotion: You've Already Won

Read a brief devotion based on this new song we are singing in corporate worship. Take a few minutes to let it deepen your appreciation of who our God is, what He has done and what He has promised to do.

Fasting Focus

When you are reminded of that from which you are fasting, ask our Lord to fill you with the following:

Gratitude for being united to Christ as a coheir of his inheritance

A hunger to tell others what Christ has won for you

Prayer Prompts

Renew my appreciation and joy for what you have done in my life.

Stir me to make the testimony of what you have done in me known to others.

Let others see and hear the grace and beauty of what you have done in me.
